80054 Simple News is AllDNN's new solution for a community site
We often need these items in a community site:
- Community News (posted by community association, or community members)
- Community Informations (education, health, transportation, shopping etc.)
- Sales (Auto, Furniture, Clothing, Eletronics, etc)
- Housing info (Appartment renting, house rent or sale etc.)
- Personal (friends etc.)
- Services Ad (local small business Ads)
- Jobs
These can all grouped as simple News. We may need different template and permission to manage these news. Some may require verification, or captcha to post. Some may require approval. Some may allow people rate it, or comment it.
Now, with 80054 Simple News, we can handle all these in a central place.
80054 is still in beta stage. Currently it includes the following modules:
- Alldnn_news_list: a tree view include all administrative functions like:
-- Manage Category
-- Manage Permission
-- Manage Templates
-- Manage all news
-- Manage news require verification
-- Manage news require approval
- Alldnn_news_permission is the detail managment screen for selected admin task
- Alldnn_news_article: display the news based on selected template, allow publishing based on permission and user role; anonymous is allow to publish right in the screen when they see the similar articles
- Alldnn_news_latest: display latest articles grouped by your selection. This is usually for your site home page.
